About the Role:
Our library sits at the heart of our work to build a strong reading culture across Open Academy. The Librarian will manage the day-to-day running of the library, promote reading for pleasure across Years 7–11, and work alongside our literacy leaders and teaching staff to make the library a welcoming, purposeful space for every student.
As a Church of England academy, our Christian ethos and our values of Aspiration, Perseverance and Respect shape everything we do, and we are looking for a colleague who will share and model them.

You are organised and resourceful, comfortable managing stock and library systems, and ready to shape events, clubs and initiatives that bring reading to life across the school.
Working Hours
The exact working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate at interview but will fall within our academy hours of Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm.
