37 Hours per week - Term Time Plus 2 Weeks

The Minster School is a highly regarded, oversubscribed school, serving the local community of Southwell and surrounding villages. The school currently has 1650 students on roll including over 350 students in the sixth form and 40 students in the junior department. We are regularly amongst the top schools in Nottinghamshire for achievement and attainment.

Alongside serving our own students, we are the home of East Midlands East Maths Hub, a strategic partner of the Redhill Teaching Hub and a member of the Minster Learning Alliance. The Minster School is a member of the Minster Trust for Education (MITRE), a multi academy trust.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious Maths Hub Operational Manager, to work with work within the East Midland Maths Hub.

East Midlands East Maths Hub is an approachable, inclusive and supportive community that embraces a research-informed approach to mathematics across all phases and settings.​

By working collaboratively and equitably sharing expertise, we aim to establish professional cultures and practices that support the ongoing development of maths education.​ This enhances the knowledge, understanding and confidence of teachers, lecturers and support staff, leading to improved pupil outcomes and greater engagement with mathematics for all pupils

This role forms a central part of the work of the Maths Hub and they will work closely with other staff to support, develop and further extend the work of the Maths Hub.

The Hub Operational Manager will lead the operational delivery of the East Midlands East Maths Hub, ensuring that programmes, events, communications, finances, data systems and stakeholder engagement are managed effectively. The role includes line management of Hub staff, oversight of CRM and reporting systems, financial monitoring of grant-funded activity, and supporting the strategic development of the Hub. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operations professional to play a key role in improving mathematics education across the region.

The successful candidate will: have experience managing and leading a team; be able to manage and distribute work effectively and efficiently; have experience with strategic planning, marketing and recruitment, managing finance and customer relations systems.

You will be enthusiastic, methodical, organised, have great interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
