The posting

Hilltop Junior School are seeking an enthusiastic, caring Midday Assistant who enjoys working with children to join their friendly, supportive team.

As Midday Assistant you will help to maintain a safe, happy and secure environment during lunchtime for our lovely children.

If you are looking for a position that offers job satisfaction and that fits in with other commitments, then this may be the opportunity you have been looking for. We really do value all of our staff as each team member makes a positive difference to the lives of young people.

Successful applicants will:

  • Supervise children in the lunch hall
  • Encourage imaginative play outside (and indoors when it's raining)
  • Ensure the good behaviour of pupils
  • Administer first aid
