The posting

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Midday Supervisors to join our team at Chellaston Academy. This important role involves ensuring the safety, welfare and positive behaviour of students during lunch breaks. You will supervise dining areas and outdoor spaces, support students as they move around the site, promote a calm and respectful environment, and help maintain high standards of cleanliness across lunchtime facilities. As part of our wider academy team, you will play a valuable role in supporting students and upholding our core values of Integrity, Care and Excellence.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for caring, approachable and dependable individuals who enjoy working with young people and can build positive relationships with students. Successful candidates will be able to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrate flexibility in their approach, and confidently support behaviour expectations in line with the academy's values. Experience of working with children, behaviour management or health and safety practices would be an advantage, although full training will be provided. Above all, we are seeking individuals who are committed to safeguarding, professional development and helping create a safe, enjoyable lunchtime experience for all students.
