The posting

Kensworth CE Academy is looking for a dedicated Midday Supervisor to join our friendly lunch team. In this role, you will help our pupils aged 4 to 11 develop healthy eating habits, practice good manners, and engage in safe, active play.

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Supervise children in the dining hall, assisting them with opening packaging, using cutlery, and maintaining a clean environment.
  • Lead and encourage playground games, ensuring all children are included, active, and safe.
  • Manage pupil behaviour positively in line with the school's behaviour policy.
  • Attend to accidents and administer basic first aid (training will be provided).
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other supervisors to ensure a smooth transition between morning lessons and afternoon registration.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A patient, kind, and approachable manner with young children.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • A proactive attitude toward children's safety and well-being.
  • Flexibility and a good sense of humour.
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important.

What We Offer:

  • A supportive, welcoming, and inclusive school community.
  • Comprehensive induction and ongoing training (including safeguarding and first aid).
  • Term-time only working hours, perfectly suited to fit around family or other commitments.

Additional Information

Applicants for this public-facing role must be able to converse with and provide effective support or advice to pupils, parents, and colleagues fluently in spoken English.

Visits are warmly welcomed - please contact Sarah Rooney or Aimee Knott at Kensworth CE Academy to make further arrangements.

We reserve the right to close before the advertised closing date, with interviews taking place soon after. Early applications are therefore recommended. All applications will be considered on receipt.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
