Midday Support Assistants Required

Grade 5

To start TBC

Location: Forest Way School

Midday Support Assistants x 4

Hours: 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday - 12.5 hours per

Term: Term-time only (work only when the schools are open plus training days - 39 weeks)

Actual Starting Salary: £7,524.15

About the Role

We are looking for kind and caring people to help our pupils during their lunch break. You could be supporting pupils in the dining hall, helping on the playground or providing one-to-one support, depending on the needs of our pupils

This job is perfect if you want a few hours of rewarding work each day.

What You Will Do:

  • Helping at Lunchtime: Help make lunchtime a positive experience for our pupils, whether that’s supporting them in the dining room or helping a pupil with their meal.
  • Personal Care: Some pupils need help with toileting, washing or other personal care. Don’t worry if you haven’t done this before, full training will be provided.
  • Play and Activities: Get involved with pupils at lunchtime, from outdoor play to fun indoor activities.
  • Helping in the Classroom: Provide support within the classroom while colleagues take their lunch break

About You:

  • You are patient, kind, and friendly.
  • You want to support young people.
  • You are willing to be trained to meet the needs of pupils including feed training and health needs training.
