The posting

Bloomsbury Nursery School and Goodway Nursery School are Local Authority Maintained Nursery Schools, committed to providing exceptional care and high-quality early education for children aged two to four years.

Our schools formally federated in September 2024 and share an Executive Headteacher and Governing Board. Working together enables us to share expertise, strengthen practice and continually develop the quality of education and experiences we provide for our children and families. This position will include working across both nursery schools.

Our nursery schools are forward-thinking and ambitious, with a strong commitment to equity, inclusion and ensuring every child has the very best start to their education. We are looking for a passionate and reflective teacher who shares our vision and values and is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for every child.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an experienced and skilled EYFS teacher with a secure understanding of the learning and development requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Is caring, approachable and committed to working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
  • Embraces and actively promotes the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion.
  • Is passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children, families and the wider community.
  • Has high expectations for all children and for their own professional practice.
  • Demonstrates a positive, reflective and proactive approach to challenge, development and change.
  • Is committed to child-centred teaching and learning, recognising and responding to the individual strengths, interests and needs of every child.
  • Shares our passion for providing exceptional early years education and securing the best possible outcomes for every child.

We can offer you:

  • A happy, welcoming and supportive working environment.
  • The opportunity to work alongside experienced and committed early years professionals.
  • A collaborative environment where professional dialogue, reflection and the sharing of expertise are valued.
  • A wide range of high-quality professional development opportunities to support your ongoing learning and career progression.
  • The opportunity to contribute to the continued development of two ambitious maintained nursery schools and the wider early years sector.

Safeguarding Statement

All appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, verification of qualifications, receipt of two satisfactory references and an online search in line with statutory guidance.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
