The posting

Deyes High School is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Pastoral Support Assistant to join our dedicated Pastoral Team..

This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role within our pastoral and inclusion provision, supporting students to achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally. You will work closely with a designated year group, providing day-to-day pastoral support and acting as a key point of contact for students, parents/carers and staff.

The role involves supporting behaviour, attendance and wellbeing, working proactively to identify and address barriers to learning. You will contribute to targeted intervention strategies, build positive relationships with families, and work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral leaders and external agencies to ensure students receive the right support at the right time.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with young people and supporting their development
  • Is confident managing behaviour and promoting positive attitudes to learning
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Can build strong, professional relationships with students, families and colleagues
  • Is resilient, proactive and committed to making a difference

Deyes High School is a vibrant, ambitious and oversubscribed school within Lydiate Learning Trust. We are proud of our inclusive ethos, strong values and commitment to staff development and wellbeing. You will join a supportive and collaborative team where your contribution will have a real impact on students’ lives.

If you are passionate about supporting young people and want to play a vital role in their success, we would welcome your application.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
