The posting

Help us find the people who change lives.

Every great academy starts with great people.

As one of the largest and most successful Multi-Academy Trusts in the North of England, we're looking for a Recruitment Administrator to join our friendly and ambitious HR & Recruitment Team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in attracting talented colleagues who help thousands of young people thrive every day.

If you're highly organised, enjoy building relationships, love variety and take pride in delivering an excellent service, we'd love to hear from you.

Why join us?

No two days are the same.

One minute you'll be supporting an academy to advertise a teaching vacancy, the next you'll be coordinating interviews, carrying out pre-employment checks or welcoming a new starter to the Trust.

You'll be part of a supportive team that works with 64 academies across Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and the Humber, helping leaders recruit exceptional people into roles that make a real difference.

Whether you're already working in recruitment or looking to build a career in HR and people services, this role offers excellent experience, development opportunities and exposure to a wide range of recruitment activity.

What you'll be doing

✔ Being the first point of contact for recruitment enquiries from applicants, academies and colleagues.

✔ Managing our recruitment inbox and supporting candidates throughout their recruitment journey.

✔ Creating and advertising vacancies through our recruitment system.

✔ Coordinating interviews and assessment activities.

✔ Producing contracts and new starter documentation.

✔ Completing pre-employment checks and supporting safer recruitment processes.

✔ Maintaining accurate recruitment records and ensuring our systems are up to date.

✔ Supporting recruitment training and continuous improvement projects across the Trust.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Has excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Pays attention to the small details that make a big difference.
  • Is confident communicating with a wide range of people.
  • Takes pride in delivering a high-quality service.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
  • Has experience in an administrative environment (recruitment experience is beneficial but not essential).

Why Delta?

At Delta Academies Trust, every role contributes to improving life chances for young people.

We're proud to be one of the country's highest-performing Multi-Academy Trusts, with all of our academies rated Good or better. Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we're committed to creating an environment where colleagues feel valued, supported and able to develop their careers.

Our Head Office offers:

✅ Free on-site parking ✅ Excellent links to the A1 and M62 ✅ On-site café facilities ✅ A comprehensive wellbeing and benefits package ✅ Opportunities for professional development and career progression

Ready to join us?

If you're looking for a role where your work truly matters, we'd love to hear from you.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact our Julie Bush, HR Manager on 07967 819020 or email [email protected].

Holiday Entitlement: minimum 35 days (subject to pro rata if working part time and dependent upon salary and continuous service) including statutory Bank Holidays.

In accordance with DfE Keeping Children Safe in Education, an online search will be completed on all shortlisted applicants prior to interview. Any relevant information will be discussed further with the applicant during the recruitment process.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding the welfare of its students and the successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service certificate and checks of the relevant barred list / prohibition lists.

Delta Academies Trust undertake to treat all applicants for posts fairly and not to discriminate unfairly against volunteers or paid staff who voluntarily reveal that they have a criminal conviction. Equally, we will not discriminate unfairly against volunteers or paid staff where a Disclosure and Barring Service check reveals a criminal conviction or other information about offences.

Therefore, we will consider job applicants who have a criminal record based on their skills, abilities, experience, knowledge and, where needed, qualifications and training. However, our approach depends on the job, and whether it is covered by, or exempt from, the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

We are proud to be a Disability Confident employer and guarantee an interview to anyone disclosing a disability whose application meets the minimum criteria for the post. However, it is important to note that if we receive a high volume of applications, we may limit the numbers of interviews offered to people with and without a disability.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

The numbers game

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
