The posting

Shropshire Church of England Academies Trust is pleased to invite applications for the post of SEND Teaching Assistant at Worfield Endowed CE Primary School. The successful candidate will join our team of teaching assistants.

Fixed Term (to 31/08/2027 in the first instance)

30 hours per week (6 hours per day, Monday to Friday)

NJC Grade 5

There may be the opportunity for the successful candidate to be offered an additional contract to support within our Extended Schools provision. This can be discussed at interview.

Worfield School is situated just off the picturesque Main Street of half-timbered houses and old cottages, leading to the 12th century church and the Tudor manor house. Our small, rural school provides a warm and friendly atmosphere based on trusted partnerships in the community that we serve. Our children access a safe and stimulating environment in which to develop their academic, social, moral and spiritual potential. Our expectations are high as we aim to provide as many different opportunities for curriculum enrichment as we can. We ensure every day is a learning experience through our rich, varied and vibrant curriculum.

The ideal candidate needs to be patient, with a warm and friendly attitude and have the passion and determination to succeed through challenging situations on a daily basis. You will predominantly be providing support to a pupil with an EHCP to enable them to access the curriculum. This may include the preparation of resources and leading interventions.

To be considered for this SEND Teaching Assistant position you will need to have experience of working with children with SEND in either a primary school setting or in a specialist provision. You should also have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent qualification.

We can offer you:

  • many opportunities for high quality CPD
  • a strong forward thinking leadership team
  • highly motivated staff and supportive governors

For further information, or to arrange a visit to the school, please contact Mrs Rebecca Dyke, Schools' Business Manager - Tel.: 01746 763455 Email: [email protected]

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.
