School visits are welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the school to arrange a suitable time.

What will you do?

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive Chemistry teaching that meets the needs of all pupils, builds on prior knowledge and enables them to achieve their highest possible standards.

  • Establish a safe, purposeful and respectful learning environment, maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement, independence and pupil wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers, the wider school community and external partners, contributing positively to the curriculum, pastoral life and ethos of Avanti House Secondary School.
  • Uphold professional standards and safeguarding responsibilities, while continually developing teaching practice through reflection, professional development and engagement with school policies and procedures.

What are we looking for?

  • Qualified to bachelor’s degree level in relevant or allied subject
  • Able to self-start, work independently and collaboratively as part of a team whether led or leading
  • Clear vision and understanding of how to implement and sustain a high-quality teaching and learning
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to delegate

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
