Teacher of English with Lead for Reading
A Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR 2) allowance is available for a suitably experienced candidate to lead Reading across the Academy.

What You’ll Do
- Deliver Inspiring Lessons: Teach English across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, fostering a genuine love for language and literature.
- Lead and Cultivate a Reading Culture: Take responsibility for leading, developing, and driving our whole-school reading strategy across all key stages—broadening vocabulary, deepening comprehension, and embedding a vibrant literacy culture across the Academy.
- Empower 21st-Century Learners: Use innovative, high-impact teaching strategies to raise achievement, build student confidence, and close attainment gaps.
- Elevate the Department: Play an active role in raising the profile of English and literacy across the Academy through leadership, dynamic lessons, extra-curricular opportunities, and collaborative curriculum design.
