Teaching Assistant EYFS - Hexthorpe Primary Academy Permanent | 32.5 hours per week | Term Time Only

At Hexthorpe Primary Academy, part of the Astrea Academy Trust, we believe in unlocking the potential of every child. We are seeking a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team and support our mission to provide an exceptional education for every pupil.

About Hexthorpe Primary Located in the heart of Doncaster, Hexthorpe is a vibrant and inclusive school where children are at the centre of everything we do. We pride ourselves on our nurturing environment, high expectations, and strong community spirit. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences
  • Work with small groups and individual pupils to boost progress and engagement
  • Lead small group interventions for phonics, reading and early maths
  • Support children to have a positive, active playtime/dinnertime
  • Promote positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and pastoral care

What We’re Looking For

  • A caring and enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for supporting children
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and families
  • Relevant experience and qualification for working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage
