The posting

An additional leadership opportunity

For candidates with the appropriate experience, there is the opportunity to take on responsibility as KS1 Phase Leader. This attracts a TLR payment and a fortnightly half-day of leadership release. The role combines leadership, monitoring and coaching: supporting colleagues, modelling strong practice, securing consistency across the phase and helping to drive whole-school priorities.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is an effective, reflective classroom practitioner with high expectations for every child;
  • understands the importance of strong early reading, phonics, writing and mathematical foundations in KS1;
  • creates a calm, purposeful and inclusive classroom where positive relationships and behaviour for learning flourish;
  • uses assessment well to adapt teaching and secure progress from pupils’ different starting points;
  • is confident in adapting provision for pupils with SEND, EAL and other barriers to learning;
  • works collaboratively, communicates well and contributes positively to the wider life of the school;
  • is committed to safeguarding, equality and the wellbeing of children.
  • can model high-quality teaching, inclusion and classroom management;
  • can support and coach colleagues with planning, assessment, behaviour and adaptive teaching;
  • can use monitoring, pupil outcomes and professional dialogue to identify strengths and areas for development;
  • can build consistency across KS1 while maintaining a supportive, solution-focused team culture;
  • is ready to work closely with SLT and the SENCo to improve provision and outcomes for all pupils.

For the optional KS1 Phase Leader responsibility, we are particularly interested in someone who:

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
