It aims to strengthen the bonds between the creative industries, businesses, government, and non-profits. Community charities are championed by employees who, in addition to the financial donation, volunteer their time and skills to maximise grant effectiveness. About this role

We are seeking a curious, proactive and detail-oriented Data & Media Analyst to join our Intelligence & AI Growth team, supporting clients and teams across APAC.

You will support the team in monitoring media coverage and social conversations, extracting and analysing data, maintaining reporting quality, and delivering timely and reliable outputs for client accounts and new business opportunities. You will work closely with the Senior Data & Media Analyst to execute analytical tasks, troubleshoot challenges and progressively build your ability to interpret data and identify meaningful patterns.

We value not only technical skills and attention to detail, but also intellectual curiosity, sound judgement, a willingness to ask questions and the initiative to find better ways of working. You do not need to have all the answers, but you should be eager to learn, receptive to feedback and committed to continuously improving your work.

Using tools such as Meltwater, Brandwatch, Cision, Talkwalker and other analytics platforms, you will build your expertise in media monitoring, social listening and data analysis. Opportunities to develop skills in digital analytics, data visualisation, automation and AI-enabled intelligence will be available as you grow in the role.

Key Responsibilities

Media Monitoring & Social Listening

  • Set up, maintain and refine media monitoring searches, Boolean queries, keywords and tagging structures based on agreed client briefs and KPIs.
  • Monitor media coverage and social conversations across relevant mainstream, online and social media platforms, following established monitoring and escalation procedures.
  • Extract, classify and organise media and social listening data, ensuring that information is relevant, comprehensive and correctly categorised.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, including coverage volume, sentiment, share of voice, topic classification and other agreed metrics.
  • Identify unusual changes in coverage, emerging topics, potential data anomalies and relevant developments for further review by the Senior Data & Media Analyst.
  • Prepare accurate media summaries, alerts, charts, tables and recurring reports in line with agreed methodologies and deadlines.

Data Quality & Reporting

  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness and consistency of data extraction, classification, calculations and reporting.
  • Conduct quality checks on datasets, search results, dashboards and reports before submission.
  • Investigate discrepancies, unexpected results and gaps in data, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain clear documentation of search queries, tagging rules, reporting methodologies and data sources to support consistency and reproducibility.
  • Follow established processes while proactively identifying opportunities to improve workflows, reduce errors and increase efficiency.
  • Support the preparation of client-ready reports and presentations by organising findings and presenting data clearly and logically.

Digital Analytics & Technical Development

  • Support data extraction and analysis across digital analytics, web performance, SEO and other relevant marketing data sources as required.
  • Assist in integrating datasets from different platforms to support broader analysis and reporting.
  • Develop familiarity with dashboarding, data visualisation, automation and AI-enabled analytics tools.
  • Work with the Senior Data & Media Analyst and relevant technical teams to test tools, validate outputs and improve analytical workflows.

Client & New Business Management

  • Support the Senior Data & Media Analyst and account teams in delivering monitoring, reporting and analytical requirements for client accounts across APAC.
  • Clarify task requirements, understand the purpose of each analysis and ensure deliverables meet the agreed brief.
  • Support research and data analysis for new business pitches by gathering relevant information, preparing datasets and developing charts or supporting materials.
  • Flag potential issues, data limitations or unexpected findings that may affect reporting quality or interpretation.
  • Respond professionally to internal requests, communicate progress and raise questions or concerns early to ensure timely delivery.

About You

You are a meticulous and curious individual who enjoys working with data, investigating questions and making sense of information. You take pride in getting the details right, are comfortable working through structured tasks and understand that reliable analysis starts with sound data and disciplined execution.

You thrive in a collaborative environment where you can learn from experienced colleagues, take on new challenges and gradually develop your analytical capabilities.

You are likely to have:

  • Approximately 2–3 years of relevant experience in media monitoring, social listening, research, data analysis or a related field, ideally within a communications agency or media monitoring organisation.
  • Familiarity with media monitoring and social listening platforms such as Meltwater, Brandwatch, Cision or Talkwalker.
  • Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to data handling, checking, documentation and quality assurance.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns, inconsistencies and anomalies and investigate them logically.
  • A curious mindset and the confidence to ask questions, challenge assumptions constructively and understand the purpose behind assigned tasks.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Good written communication skills and the ability to summarise information clearly and accurately.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning new tools, technologies and analytical methodologies.
  • The ability to work collaboratively, receive feedback positively and take responsibility for the quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Familiarity with digital analytics, Google Analytics, SEO, dashboards or data visualisation is advantageous.
  • Basic spreadsheet proficiency is expected; experience with data extraction, automation, Python, Google Apps Script or other scripting tools is a plus, but not mandatory.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
