TeamViewer Frontline is a platform for building and deploying applications for frontline workers. It supports device-guided workflows, including processes that guide an operator through tasks such as picking and connect those workflows to live data from customer backends.
Responsibilities
This Software Engineer role focuses on integrating and deploying Frontline in customer environments. You will work directly with customer teams to understand their processes, connect Frontline to their systems, and configure or develop device-guided workflows and customer-facing web interfaces. The role also includes troubleshooting customer issues and contributing product feedback.
• Design and implement APIs and integrations between Frontline and customer systems.
• Configure or develop operator workflows in Frontline's custom configuration language.
• Build or configure customer-facing web interfaces as part of customer solutions.
• Configure and deploy Frontline in customer environments, including connecting workflows to backend data.
• Work directly with customers to understand requirements, resolve issues, and troubleshoot implementations.
• Develop product features and share implementation feedback with the product team.
Requirements
• Hands-on ability with Java, Spring, React, SQL, Git, and JSON.
• Familiarity with macOS and comfort using its command line.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bash scripting.
• Docker experience, particularly for setting up development environments.
• Hibernate.
• Kubernetes.
• Networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and SSL.
Travel and support
• Occasional travel may be required, approximately 2-3 times per year and for up to one week per trip.
• Occasional, as-needed on-call coverage for L3 support; there is no fixed rotation.
