The posting

  • Reliable address, building and network data for a fibre-to-the-home network in Wallonia is your core responsibility: you process and resolve address requests across DMP, Cocon, the address lists and the build lists, and keep one consistent view of every address.
  • Each Deployment Area’s build list is yours to create and re-challenge, from the address sources to the list locked with the operators.
  • Before each submission to the operators, you run data-quality checks, correct errors at the source and keep the deviation per area below the contractual limit. In addition, you build the poles database and reconcile it with ORES and RESA.
  • The MDU register stays complete under your care, and you flag streets at risk of capacity shortage while re-blowing fibre is still an option.
  • As part of the design process, you contribute to the pre-design package and to the address and connectivity checks of the design review.
  • Using SQL, Python, FME and QGIS, you build validation rules and scripts, with AI-assisted tooling where it speeds up the work.
  • Coordination with Build, Operations, the operators and the partners is part of the job, as are occasional site visits with construction partners or survey teams. Clear documentation of your work ensures that others can reproduce it.

Desired profile

  • +-5 years of experience in data analysis, data quality, data engineering or geodata, with a domain owned end to end
  • Experience with geospatial data: coordinate systems and spatial joins, address and geometry data, QGIS or a comparable tool
  • Experience running, tracing and modifying existing ETL workflows in FME or a comparable tool
  • The following are an asset:hands-on FME, PyQGIS or QGIS plugin development knowledge of Belgian address and cadastral references: BeST Address/CRAB, ICAR, PICC, SPW and Belmap FTTH or telecom knowledge, such as poles, coverage and network inventories like Cocon experience with recurring regulatory or compliance reporting

💡 Your skills

  • SQL skills, including queries, joins and reconciliations across systems.
  • You use Python for data work (pandas or equivalent), scripting and automation, and you can read and modify existing scripts.
  • Demonstrable data-quality rigour: validation, reconciliation, deduplication and error tracing.
  • Recurring manual work is something you turn into repeatable checks and scripts.
  • You know how AI-assisted tools on real data or scripting work, verify the output and remain accountable for it.
  • Knowledge of Power BI or Microsoft Fabric, or experience building small internal tools for non-technical colleagues, is a plus.
  • You speak French fluently and have a professional knowledge of English. Dutch is an asset.

🌟 Who are you?

• You are meticulous with address and geometry data, because you know a bad join can spread into build lists and regulatory figures.

• You are autonomous: you run the queue, resolve most cases alone and know what to escalate.

• You work through a large queue steadily and triage by impact.

• You document and share your work so that colleagues can reuse it.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
