Für die Entwicklung und Optimierung von Fahrzeuginnenräumen zum Schutz der Insassen bei Kopfaufprall suchen wir einen Development Engineer mit Erfahrung in der FEM-Simulation und passiven Fahrzeugsicherheit. 1 Development Engineer (m/w/d) Interior Head Impact & CAB Integration Vollzeit Gratkorn

Deine Aufgaben

* FEM-Simulation: Du erstellst und validierst LS-DYNA-Modelle des oberen Fahrzeuginnenraums, einschließlich Säulen, Dachhimmel und Verkleidungen

* Kopfairbag-Integration (CAB): Du modellierst Curtain Airbags inklusive Faltung, Gasgenerator, Befestigungen und Entfaltungsverhalten

* FMVSS 201U & Head Impact: Du definierst Aufprallpunkte und simulierst FMH-Tests sowie dynamische Pfahltests zur Bewertung des Kopfaufprallschutzes

* Ergebnisanalyse & Optimierung: Du bewertest HIC(d), Bauteilverhalten und Verkleidungsstabilität und optimierst Innenraumkomponenten, Energieabsorber und Befestigungskonzepte

* Simulations- und Versuchskorrelation: Du vergleichst Simulationen mit Versuchsergebnissen, planst Validierungsversuche und verbesserst die Prognosegüte deiner Modelle

* Entwicklung & Projektbetreuung: Du koordinierst die CAB-Integration mit OEMs und Zulieferern und begleitest technische Optimierungen bis zur Serienreife

Dein Profil

* Ausbildung: Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium in Maschinenbau, Fahrzeugtechnik oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung

* FEM & Passive Sicherheit: Du bringst mehrjährige Erfahrung in der FEM-Simulation mit, idealerweise im Bereich Interior Head Impact

* FMVSS 201U & CAB: Du kennst die relevanten Prüfverfahren und hast Erfahrung mit Kopfairbag-Modellierung oder -Integration

* Simulationstools: Du beherrschst LS-DYNA sowie Pre- und Postprocessing-Tools wie ANSA, META oder Animator

* Validierung: Du hast praktische Erfahrung in der Korrelation von Simulation und Versuch; Kenntnisse zu FMVSS 226 sind von Vorteil

* Arbeitsweise & Kommunikation: Du arbeitest analytisch und strukturiert, bist teamorientiert und verfügst über gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
