The posting

Anyone can push code to production. We want engineers who care about what happens next: how a service behaves when traffic triples, how fast it recovers when something breaks, and whether the client’s business is still humming a year later.

Techdome builds production-grade platforms for clients in FinTech, Healthcare, E-commerce, SaaS, Logistics, and EdTech. Industries vary, but our expectations don’t: every system must be secure, dependable, and ready to grow. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and run applications on Node.js, React, MongoDB, and TypeScript, and to stay accountable for them long after launch.

What you’ll do

  • Own features end to end: Take work from design through development, release, and ongoing maintenance, staying responsible well after go-live.
  • Build services that hold up: Deliver secure, thoroughly tested, scalable APIs and applications that stay steady under real-world load.
  • Set the bar for quality: Run thoughtful code reviews and champion the practices that keep our codebases clean and maintainable.
  • Lead during incidents: Jump in when things break, restore service fast, and drive root-cause analysis so issues don’t repeat.
  • Shape technical direction: Contribute to architecture and the major decisions that define how our platforms evolve.
  • Grow the team: Mentor and coach other engineers, raising the level of everyone around you.
  • Work across disciplines: Partner with product, design, QA, and DevOps, with hands-on exposure to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, containers, and observability.
  • Understand the client’s business: Quickly learn each client’s users, goals, and constraints, and turn them into sound technical solutions.

Your first 90 days

  • Days 1–30 (Learn and land): Get familiar with our codebases, workflows, and people, and ship your first real contribution.
  • Days 31–60 (Take ownership): Own a feature or service from start to finish, and become an active voice in reviews and technical discussions.
  • Days 61–90 (Become the go-to): Establish yourself as a trusted engineer on a core client product, handle production confidently, and start guiding teammates.

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong command of Node.js, React, MongoDB, and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Solid grounding in REST API design, data modeling, authentication and authorization, testing, and application security
  • A track record of running production systems at scale, not just building them
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Comfort with Git, Docker, CI/CD, and production monitoring and debugging
  • Experience across varied industries or product types, and the ability to ramp up fast on new domains
  • Proven leadership and a habit of stepping forward when ownership is needed

Bonus points

  • Strong system design skills, including distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture
  • Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, or SOC 2
  • Experience integrating third-party services like payment gateways (Stripe, Braintree, Adyen), CRMs, or analytics tools
  • Consultancy or product-studio experience juggling multiple clients and projects
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
