About the role

We are looking for an IT Platform Business Analyst to join our Digital Platforms team.

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and evolving Pepco's end-to-end eCommerce capabilities. Working closely with Business stakeholders, Product Owners, Architects, Engineers, Testers and external partners, you will transform business needs into scalable, delivery-ready solutions that enhance the customer experience and support our growth across Europe.

If you enjoy connecting business and technology, solving complex challenges, and delivering customer-focused digital solutions, you'll fit right in.

What you’ll be doing

  • Act as the key link between Business stakeholders and eCommerce product, platform and delivery teams.
  • Maintain an end-to-end view of eCommerce capabilities, customer journeys, business processes and technology dependencies.
  • Lead discovery activities to understand business needs, customer challenges and improvement opportunities.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, scalable and actionable deliverables.
  • Support the definition, refinement and prioritisation of the product and capability backlog.
  • Facilitate workshops and cross-functional discussions involving Commercial, Operations, Finance, Legal, Customer and Technology teams.
  • Create high-quality documentation including user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria and functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects and Engineering teams to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned with business goals.
  • Support testing activities, including defining test scenarios and validating delivered solutions.
  • Analyse impacts, dependencies and risks associated with changes and initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to optimise processes and ways of working.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, demos and retrospectives.
  • Support knowledge sharing, best practice development and collaboration across the wider Business Analyst community.

What we’re looking for

  • Degree-level qualification in Business, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Delivery or Technology Delivery roles.
  • Experience working within Agile environments and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record delivering customer-facing digital solutions.
  • Experience gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience writing user stories, process flows, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe.
  • Experience working within retail, eCommerce or digital business environments.
  • Understanding of customer journeys and omnichannel retail solutions.
  • Exposure to international business environments, ideally within retail.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of process modelling techniques and tools.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, integrations and SQL.
  • Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms is considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English (mandatory).

What we offer

  • Hybrid model: 2 days remote / 3 days onsite
  • Office based in Porto: 📍 https://maps.app.goo.gl/Nn7hc6uYrmPiT8Fc9
  • Competitive salary and annual bonus
  • Health insurance from the month after joining
  • Meal allowance
  • Employee discount in Pepco stores in Portugal

  • International exposure and collaboration across markets
  • A simple, down-to-earth culture where people support each other

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
