Je komt terecht bij een internationale logistieke onderneming met familiale waarden, gespecialiseerd in transport en logistiek tussen het Europese vasteland en het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Ierland.In het volautomatische magazijn zorg je er samen met je collega's voor dat de goederenstroom vlot blijft verlopen. Je krijgt een afwisselende functie waarin je niet alleen magazijnwerk uitvoert, maar ook kleine problemen in het automatische systeem helpt oplossen. Wie initiatief toont en graag bijleert, kan via interne opleidingen doorgroeien naar assistent-teamleader.

Jobomschrijving

Als medewerker magazijn zorg je ervoor dat de werking van het automatische magazijn niet stilvalt. Wanneer er iets vastloopt, onderzoek je waar het probleem zit en grijp je in waar nodig.Je takenpakket bestaat uit:

  • De werking van het automatische magazijn opvolgen en de goederenstroom bewaken.
  • Kleine storingen oplossen, bijvoorbeeld wanneer palletten, plastic of houten onderdelen vast komen te zitten.
  • Controleren waar een probleem ontstaat en de blokkering veilig verhelpen.
  • Kleine onderhoudstaken uitvoeren waar nodig.
  • Grotere elektrische of mechanische problemen melden aan de storingstechniekers.
  • Veilig en zorgvuldig werken om schade aan goederen en installaties te voorkomen.
  • Samenwerken met collega's om het magazijn vlot te laten draaien.

Af en toe voer je een interventie uit op hoogte in de automatische magazijnstellingen. Je hoeft geen zware technische herstellingen uit te voeren, maar je technisch inzicht en je vermogen om rustig naar oplossingen te zoeken zijn belangrijk.

Je bent zelfstandig, betrouwbaar en praktisch ingesteld. Je ziet werk liggen, denkt logisch na wanneer er iets fout loopt en neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor je taken.Daarnaast herken je jezelf hierin:

  • Je hebt bij voorkeur een technische achtergrond, bijvoorbeeld in mechanica.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en blijft rustig wanneer er zich een probleem voordoet.
  • Je bent stipt en een echte teamspeler.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands of Engels.
  • Je bent bereid om voltijds in een tweeploegenstelsel te werken.
  • Je hebt geen hoogtevrees en durft indien nodig op hoogte te werken.
  • Je werkt veilig en gaat zorgvuldig om met goederen en materiaal.
  • Een geldig attest voor de heftruck en/of elektrische stapelaar is een pluspunt.
