Je komt terecht bij een internationaal recyclagebedrijf dat behoort tot de marktleiders in West-Europa. Deze organisatie is actief in de regio Gent en telt honderden medewerkers verspreid over een netwerk van vestigingen in België, Nederland en Noord-Frankrijk.

De onderneming specialiseert zich in de verwerking van ferro- en non-ferrometalen afkomstig van oude voertuigen, elektrische apparaten, gesloopte gebouwen en industrieel productieafval. Via innovatieve processen krijgen deze grondstoffen een nieuw leven.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Jij zorgt ervoor dat het mechanisch gedeelte van de productiemachines altijd in topconditie verkeert
  • Je voert preventief én curatief onderhoud uit aan het uitgebreide machinepark
  • Storingen oplossen doe je aan de hand van informatie van collega’s en technische documentatie
  • Je last onderdelen (halfautomaat en elektrode) waar nodig en zorgt voor duurzame herstellingen
  • Je werkt regelmatig in werfomstandigheden, zowel binnen als buiten de werkplaats
  • De werkplaats houd je ordelijk, veilig en proper
  • Tijdens onderhoudswerken garandeer je de veiligheid van jezelf en je collega's
  • Je beschikt over een technisch diploma of je kan een gelijkwaardige ervaring aantonen binnen een rol als mecanicien of lasser
  • Lassen (halfautomaat & elektrode) heb je perfect in de vingers
  • Je voelt je goed in zowel grove als fijnere mechaniek
