The posting

De vakgroep orthopedie van Tergooi MC bestaat uit 8 orthopeden, een fellow bovenste extremiteiten, een fellow onderste extremiteiten en twee physician assistants. Daarnaast verzorgt de vakgroep ook de orthopedische opleiding. Op dit moment werken er 5 AIOS en 5 ANIOS bij de vakgroep.

De orthopedisch chirurgen werken gedifferentieerd en werken nauw samen met specialisten vanuit andere vakgebieden. Zo is er onder andere een multidisciplinaire samenwerking rondom de sportpoli en voetenpoli. Ook is de vakgroep verantwoordelijk voor een gedeelte van de traumazorg in samenwerking met de traumachirurgie.

De missie van de vakgroep is als volgt:

De vakgroep orthopedie en traumatologie houdt mensen, ongeacht hun leeftijd of klachten, in beweging met kwalitatief hoogwaardige zorg, goede service en intensieve samenwerking met andere disciplines. Deze zorg leveren wij continu, zeven dagen per week, vierentwintig uur per dag.

We dragen bij aan de toekomst van orthopedie door collega’s op te leiden tot orthopedisch chirurg en wetenschappelijk onderzoek te doen.

Je krijgt de ruimte voor specialisatie in de verschillende heup benaderingen en ook de heup revisie- chirurgie. Daarnaast is verdieping mogelijk binnen de knie-chirurgie wat betreft primaire prothesiologie, revisie chirurgie en ook ligamentaire kniepathologie.

De vakgroep werkt vanuit de kernwaarden van Tergooi MC: met liefde, met lef en met plezier. De vakgroep participeert in multidisciplinaire spreekuren, commissies en werkgroepen. Tot slot staat de vakgroep ook nauw in contact met de huisartsen en fysiotherapeuten in de regio.
