The posting

Als echocardiografist in opleiding leer je zelfstandig echocardiografisch onderzoek uit te voeren en interpreteren. Je werkt nauw samen met cardiologen en ervaren echocardiografisten en levert een belangrijke bijdrage aan het stellen van diagnoses bij patiënten met hart- en vaatziekten.

Kennis van de anatomie van het hart en de ligging van het hart in de thorax speelt een belangrijke rol bij het ontwikkelen van de benodigde echovaardigheden. Tijdens de opleiding leer je niet alleen beelden verkrijgen, maar ook de anatomische structuren herkennen en afwijkingen beoordelen.

De opleiding

De functieafdeling Cardiologie van Tergooi MC biedt een unieke opleidingsplaats voor een echocardiografist in opleiding. Je volgt de opleiding aan Inholland, met startdatum 25 maart 2027 en combineert deze met een leer-werktraject binnen onze functieafdeling.

Voorafgaand aan de opleiding volg je dit jaar nog een voorwerkperiode van vier weken. In deze periode maak je kennis met het vakgebied, de werkzaamheden en je toekomstige collega's. Zo kunnen we je tijdig aanmelden bij InHolland en start je goed voorbereid aan de opleiding.

De afdeling

Binnen de functieafdeling Cardiologie verrichten we hoogwaardige diagnostiek voorpatiënten met hart- en vaatziekten. Je komt terecht in een betrokken en deskundig teamwaar kwaliteit, innovatie, samenwerking en persoonlijke ontwikkeling centraal staan. Samen werken we iedere dag aan de best mogelijke zorg voor onze patiënten.

Na een periode van werken met poliklinische patiënten wordt verwacht dat je ook deelneemt aan de inzet voor klinische patiënten. Daarnaast ga je:

  • Assisteren bij transoesofageale echocardiografieën (TEE's)
  • Contrastechocardiografieën uitvoeren
  • Meedraaien binnen de pool van echocardiografisten voor zowel poliklinische als klinische zorg
  • Een opleiding op post-hbo niveau, conform de toelatingseisen van Inholland
  • Een leergierige instelling waarbij je uitdagingen niet uit de weg gaat
  • Kennis van het menselijk lichaam en affiniteit met anatomie en fysiologie
  • Interesse in cardiologie, medische techniek en diagnostiek
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en een patiëntgerichte houding
  • Nauwkeurigheid, verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en doorzettingsvermogen
