Responsibilities may include conducting asbestos surveys, indoor air quality assessments, lead paint sampling, radon sampling, soil/water/material sampling, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), and Property Condition Assessments (PCAs). May assist with regulatory compliance evaluations including stormwater SWPPP inspections. Develop sampling strategies, implement data collection plans, and perform fieldwork that may include lifting equipment, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and navigating uneven terrain. Research regulatory standards; evaluate analytical results; prepare risk assessments and technical reports; and provide recommendations for corrective actions or environmental/industrial hygiene improvements. Communicate findings to clients clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety rules, guidelines, and standards. Participate in pre‑task planning and report safety concerns. Demonstrate strong quality practices and maintain consistent standards in proposals and project deliverables. Support environmental due diligence activities such as Phase I ESAs, PCAs, and regulatory compliance reviews. Carry out site visits, field observations, and field data collection—including outdoor work that may require lifting, carrying equipment, and extended periods on foot. Direct and supervise field staff in sampling, testing, data collection, and documentation of site activities. Assist senior staff on larger, more complex projects. Analyze moderately complex laboratory and field data; assemble clear, well‑structured written reports. Develop written proposals for review and approval by senior professionals. Participate in project meetings and communicate directly with clients regarding project tasks. May oversee the work of junior scientists, industrial hygienists, technicians, or engineers. Work under the supervision of a Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
