The posting

TerraPower is a nuclear technology company based in Bellevue, Washington. At its core, the company is working to raise living standards globally through a more affordable, secure, and environmentally friendly form of nuclear energy along with innovations in medical isotopes to improve human health. In 2006, TerraPower originated with Bill Gates and a group of like-minded visionaries who evaluated the fundamental challenges to raising living standards around the world. They recognized energy access was crucial to the health and economic well-being of communities and decided that the private sector needed to take action and create energy sources that would advance global energy deployment. TerraPower’s mission is to be a world leader in new nuclear technologies, while developing innovators and future leaders in the nuclear field. As a result, the company’s activities in the fields of nuclear energy and related sciences are yielding significant innovations in the safety and economics of nuclear power, hybrid energy and medical applications – all for significant human health benefits.”

TerraPower is seeking to hire highly motivated and forward-thinking professionals who are interested in focusing on advanced nuclear reactor research and development and influencing change within the nuclear power landscape and bringing forward the critical production of medical isotopes. TerraPower is an Equal Opportunity Employer. This role is well-suited for individuals with prior experience in document control or records management in a regulated industry, particularly nuclear. The Analyst supports the full document lifecycle using electronic systems and standard processes, while also contributing to the improvement of RMDC practices, user training, and regulatory readiness. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a working knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements in the nuclear industry. This is an on-site role based in Bellevue, WA.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain TerraPower’s Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), ensuring compliance with document lifecycle requirements including version control, approvals, metadata standards, and archival.
  • Review, edit, and process-controlled documents and Change Orders, verifying alignment with TerraPower procedures and nuclear regulatory expectations.
  • Act as a point of contact for document control support across engineering, quality, licensing, project management, and supply chain functions.
  • Guide internal teams through EDMS workflows, ensuring timely routing, review, and release of documentation.
  • Train TerraPower staff and contractors on RMDC policies, procedures, and EDMS use; assist in onboarding new users.
  • Support records retention, retrieval, and disposition processes consistent with internal schedules and external compliance obligations (e.g., ASME NQA-1, NRC guidance, NIRMA).
  • Perform document audits and quality checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Help develop and maintain RMDC tools, templates, training materials, and standard work instructions.
  • Maintain and triage RMDC mailboxes and ticketing systems, escalating issues as needed.
  • Contribute to readiness activities for audits, licensing submittals, vendor reviews, and regulatory inspections.
  • Support the migration of legacy documents and data cleanup efforts within EDMS and SharePoint.
  • Coordinate with configuration management or quality teams on change control, revisions, and baselining activities.
  • Lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance document control performance and efficiency.

Key Qualifications and Skills;

  • Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • 3–5 years of experience in document control or records management, ideally within a regulated industry such as nuclear, aerospace, energy, or life sciences.
  • Strong working knowledge of electronic document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Agile, DevonWay, or similar).
  • Demonstrated understanding of document lifecycle processes, change control, and records retention principles.
  • Familiarity with nuclear regulatory and quality frameworks, including ASME NQA-1, NRC Regulatory Guides, and NIRMA Technical Guidelines.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train and support users across departments.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proven track record of reliability, integrity, and maintaining confidentiality in a technical or regulated environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
