Join our team at Vibe Hotel Melbourne Docklands

We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team. This is an opportunity to bring your skills to a welcoming hospitality environment where quality food, consistency and great guest experiences matter. About the hotel Featuring 273 guest rooms in Melbourne's vibrant Docklands precinct, adjacent to Marvel Stadium and within easy reach of the CBD. The property is home to Storehouse Docklands and offers conference and event facilities About the role As a Cook, you’ll support the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, preparing and cooking quality food while maintaining high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items to required standards Complete food preparation for service Maintain consistent food quality and presentation Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements Keep kitchen areas clean, organised and ready for service Work collaboratively with the kitchen and broader hotel team Assist with stock and ingredient management where required

What you’ll bring

Previous cooking experience in a commercial kitchen Sound food preparation and cooking skills Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements Ability to work effectively during busy service periods Reliability, attention to detail and a collaborative approach
