Hannah St Hotel Melbourne is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Food & Beverage Operations Manager to lead our diverse portfolio of food, beverage, conferencing and events operations. Reporting directly to the Hotel General Manager, this is a rare opportunity to play a key leadership role in one of Melbourne's most exciting luxury lifestyle hotel destinations.   About Hannah St Hotel Melbourne Part of Collection by TFE Hotels, Hannah St Hotel Melbourne is a design-led luxury hotel located in the heart of Southbank. Featuring 188 boutique rooms and suites, wellness spaces, creative studios and a collection of distinctive dining and event experiences, the hotel has quickly become a destination for both locals and travellers alike. From vibrant dining venues and curated bar experiences to premium conferencing and special events, Hannah St offers a unique opportunity to lead operations across multiple hospitality touchpoints within a truly iconic Melbourne destination.   The Opportunity As Food & Beverage Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day performance of all food and beverage outlets, conferences and events operations. You will be a visible leader, inspiring your team on the floor, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and driving strong commercial outcomes across the business. Working closely with the Executive Chef and hotel leadership team, you'll help shape the guest experience, develop talent, and maximise operational performance.   Key Responsibilities

Lead all food and beverage, conferencing and events operations. Drive exceptional guest satisfaction and service excellence. Deliver revenue, profitability and productivity targets. Maximise venue utilisation and identify growth opportunities. Manage labour costs, rostering, inventory and supplier performance. Oversee the successful delivery of conferences, meetings and special events. Recruit, coach and develop high-performing teams. Foster a positive, inclusive and accountable team culture. Ensure compliance with food safety, liquor licensing and WHS requirements.

  About You You are a commercially minded hospitality professional with a passion for people and operations. You will bring:

3-5+ years' leadership experience within hotel food and beverage operations. Strong experience managing conferencing and events. Proven commercial acumen and financial management capability. A track record of leading and developing successful teams. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. A proactive, solutions-focused leadership style. The ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
