On-Site English–Vietnamese Interpreter – Manufacturing

We are seeking English–Vietnamese Interpreters to provide on-site interpretation support at a manufacturing facility in Ben Cat, Vietnam. The interpreters will support day-to-day manufacturing operations across laboratory, warehouse, production line, and other operational areas.

This is a temporary contract opportunity running from October through December, 2026, with an urgent start date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and professional English–Vietnamese interpretation during manufacturing and operational activities.
  • Support communication between English and Vietnamese-speaking employees, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Provide interpretation across various plant environments, including production lines, laboratories, warehouses, and operational areas.
  • Accurately interpret technical, operational, safety, and workplace-related communications.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling company and operational information.
  • Follow all plant access, safety, security, conduct, and operational SOPs.
  • Complete daily timesheets and comply with required security check-in/check-out procedures.
  • Support other interpretation needs as required by the client during assigned shifts.

Schedule & Coverage

Six interpreters are required to provide coverage across three shifts per day, Monday through Friday:

  • Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM VNT
  • Evening Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM VNT
  • Night Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM VNT

The assignment is scheduled for October – December 2026.

Requirements

  • Strong Vietnamese language proficiency suitable for professional interpretation.
  • Proven ability to interpret accurately in a professional or business environment.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Previous manufacturing interpretation experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical, operational, and safety-related information.
  • Willingness and ability to comply with all plant safety, security, confidentiality, and conduct requirements.
  • Ability to work the assigned shift consistently throughout the contract period.
  • Candidates must be able to work on-site in Ben Cat, Vietnam.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Spanish proficiency: CEFR B2 to native-speaker level.
  • Previous experience supporting manufacturing, production, laboratory, warehouse, or industrial operations.
  • Experience interpreting technical or safety-related terminology.
  • Experience working in multinational manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with workplace health, safety, and operational procedures.

Contract Details

  • Client: P&G (contracted under P&G Mexico legal entity) Location: Onsite at P&G's plant in Ben Cat, Vietnam Service: Onsite interpretation to support manufacturing activities (lab, warehouse, production line, and other operational areas) Language pair: Spanish–Vietnamese preferred; client has indicated openness to a one-week pilot with English–Vietnamese interpreters if Spanish–Vietnamese talent isn't available Spanish proficiency requirement: CEFR B2 to native level Headcount: 6 interpreters total, covering 3 shifts/day, one interpreter per shift: Day shift: 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. VNT Evening shift: 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. VNT Night shift: 10:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. VNT Working days: Monday–Friday Duration: October 5 – December 10, 2026 (temporary, not a permanent placement) Start date: Extremely urgent — needs to begin Monday, October 5 (SEE UPDATES BELOW) Other requirements: Manufacturing interpreting experience is a plus Interpreters must comply with plant access, safety, confidentiality, and conduct rules/SOPs Daily timesheets with security check-in/check-out required, along with supporting documentation for MSRN Travel, lodging, and per diem expenses should be included in scope/quote Quote needs to be provided in MXN (Mexican pesos), with applicable Mexican withholding tax reflected
