As a Full-Time Frontline Executive, you will have the opportunity to be an ambassador of The Alternative Story (T.A.S.). You will be in charge of engaging customers and providing administrative support to our customers and teachers. You will be the backbone of our centre operations where your traits of being detailed and service-oriented will enable you to excel in what you do.

You will work with vibrant people who value excellence and teamwork as much as you do. Here, your hard work will pay off and you will be given room to grow your skills and progress your career. Opportunities to progress to a supervisory role will be open to team members who are keen.

At the end of each day, you will feel fulfilled knowing that you have brought joy to our customers and helped to ensure the success of our day-to-day operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Customer-oriented and communicative
  • Meticulous and organised
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Able to work under pressure and time constraints
  • Able to manage centre capacity of 100-200 students per day (total capacity of around 300), with a team of customer service officers
  • Sharp and alert to customers' needs
  • Driven to make progress and produce excellent work
  • Collaborative and willing to go the extra mile
  • Holding at least GCE O-Level qualifications or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service and administration (not a requirement but a plus)

Mon: Day Off

Tue: 10.45am - 7.45pm

Wed: 10.45am - 7.45pm

Thu: 10.45am - 7.45pm

Friday: 1.00pm - 10.00pm

Sat: 8.30am to 3.30pm

Sun: Day Off

  • Work location will be at Parkway Centre (Marine Parade Central)
  • Commitment period of 1 year

About The Alternative Story

We are an English and Creative Writing Tuition Centre for Primary School children. Since 2008, our passion has been to make learning come alive in our classrooms. We seek to inspire in our students a proficiency and appreciation for the English language that sets them up for success in academics and in life.

We have grown from a small shophouse operation to our current employee strength of over 60 teachers and support staff. We are actively looking for like-minded individuals to join our team.
