Position Summary The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for outreach and engagement throughout the agency and community. This position will engage existing and potential clients on behalf of the Child Center of NY. Essential Functions
Perform regular community outreach. Meet outreach goals as established by program. Timely follow up with potential clients. Prepare client paperwork and documentation. Refer clients to organization programs. Maintain proper documentation and record keeping. Recommend and identify appropriate community contacts/agencies and establishes working relationships. Establishes a network for communication of resources and referrals. Work with other programs and division, identifying program and outreach needs. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Hours Monday – Friday | 1:00PM – 6:00PM or 2:00PM – 7:00PM (varies to be discussed) Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalency Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Education, Counseling or related field (Preferred) 1 year of experience Bilingual in one or more of the following: Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bengali and others, may be required depending on client need Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to plan and carry out assignments independently Ability to prioritize, adhere to timelines and multi-task
