Voor ons 4-sterren superior hotel in Nieuwpoort-Bad zoeken we een ervaren Front Office Medewerker die hospitality écht begrijpt, graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt en voldoening haalt uit een gastenervaring die tot in de details klopt. Onze receptie is veel meer dan een plek waar gasten in- en uitchecken. Het is het kloppende hart van ons hotel, waar persoonlijke aandacht, professionaliteit en een vlotte organisatie samenkomen.

Jouw rol

Als Front Office Medewerker ben jij een van de eerste én laatste gezichten die onze gasten zien. Je zorgt voor een warm onthaal, een vlotte check-in en check-out en een persoonlijke service die het verschil maakt. Je beheert reservaties, beantwoordt vragen en helpt gasten met plezier verder. Je denkt vooruit, merkt op wanneer iets beter kan en neemt zelf initiatief om problemen op te lossen, liefst nog voordat de gast ze ervaart. Ook achter de schermen houd je het overzicht. Je werkt nauwkeurig met ons hotelmanagementsysteem, communiceert vlot met andere afdelingen en zorgt ervoor dat belangrijke informatie correct wordt doorgegeven. Je begrijpt dat echte hospitality niet alleen draait om vriendelijk zijn, maar ook om verantwoordelijkheid nemen, commercieel meedenken en consequent kwaliteit leveren.

Wie zoeken we?

We zoeken iemand die al ervaring heeft binnen de hotelsector en zich thuis voelt in een professionele omgeving waar de verwachtingen hoog liggen.

Je beschikt over een bacheloropleiding, bij voorkeur binnen hotelmanagement of hospitality, of je hebt relevante en stevige praktijkervaring opgebouwd binnen de sector. Een diploma is dus niet doorslaggevend, maar de juiste kennis en ervaring zijn dat wel.

Je communiceert vlot en professioneel in het Nederlands, Frans én Engels. Onze gasten komen uit verschillende landen en verwachten dat ze in hun eigen taal correct en gastvrij geholpen worden.

Je bent zelfstandig, georganiseerd en stressbestendig. Ook wanneer meerdere gasten tegelijk je aandacht vragen, behoud je het overzicht en stel je de juiste prioriteiten.

Je hebt een verzorgd voorkomen, een natuurlijke commerciële ingesteldheid en oog voor detail. Je wacht niet tot iemand je vertelt wat er moet gebeuren, maar ziet zelf waar je het verschil kunt maken.

Ervaring met Mews is een pluspunt. Belangrijker is dat je vlot met digitale systemen werkt en nieuwe werkwijzen snel oppikt.

Je werkt vanuit The CORNR Hotel, maar ondersteunt waar nodig ook de receptiewerking van The CORNR Seaview. Onze hotels zijn zeven dagen op zeven geopend, waardoor wisselende shifts en weekendwerk deel uitmaken van de functie.
