• Training & Awareness Materials: Create and maintain training content, guidance documents, and awareness materials tailored to different business audiences, supporting the rollout of compliance initiatives and operational guidance.

• Operational Support: Provide hands-on support to the Legal, Ethics & Compliance function, including document management, process mapping, and coordination of activities.

• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a point of contact for internal teams and external partners on legal, ethics & compliance matters, ensuring queries are responded to promptly and professionally.

• Systems & Data Management: Implement and maintain legal, ethics, governance and compliance systems and tools, ensuring data is accurate, well-organised, and supports reporting and workflow management.

• Process Improvement Contribution: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve operational processes, contributing to transformation initiatives and functional priorities.

• Line manage the team coordinator, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure efficient execution of administrative tasks and effective coordination of departmental activities.

• Promote a culture of integrity, transparency and continuous improvement throughout the execution of their tasks.

Most important skills based requirements:

• Experience in legal or compliance operations, ideally having performed a similar role in-house or within a private practice law firm, with exposure to operational delivery and transformation.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured materials such as templates, guidance documents, dashboards, and training content.

• Good working knowledge of digital tools and platforms, with a keen interest in technology and AI solutions that can enhance operational efficiency.

• Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and maintain high standards of accuracy.

• Comfortable working with data, including supporting the development of reporting templates and visual dashboards.

• Proficient in technology and systems with the ability to learn new systems quickly.

• Has experience line managing or supervising others or can demonstrate equivalent experience.

Capabilities:

• Proactive and self-motivated, with a hands-on approach and a willingness to take ownership of tasks and deliverables.

• Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with colleagues across the department and wider teams.

• Problem-solving orientated, with the ability to identify gaps, suggest improvements, and contribute to building new ways of working.

• Adaptable, adjusts to changing business needs and priorities, demonstrates a willingness to take on new challenges, capable of handling a variety of tasks and responsibilities. Embraces new ideas and approaches, remaining open to feedback and continuous improvement.

• Resilient, comfortable working in a newly formed team and helping to shape its direction and delivery. Calm under pressure, determined and persistent in overcoming obstacles, consistently driving towards achieving goals.

• Discreet and professional, with sound judgement and a commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
