WHERE YOU'LL LIVE, WORK, AND PLAY:

Norfolk sits at the heart of Hampton Roads, one of the most historically rich and strategically significant regions on the East Coast. As home to Naval Station Norfolk — the world's largest naval base — the city carries a proud military heritage alongside a thriving arts scene, with the Chrysler Museum of Art, the Virginia Opera and the Harrison Opera House all calling Norfolk home. The revitalized Waterside District along the Elizabeth River offers waterfront dining, live entertainment and a vibrant gathering spot for locals and visitors alike.

Outdoor life is woven into the fabric of Norfolk. The Virginia Zoo, Norfolk Botanical Garden and the miles of waterfront parks give residents plenty of ways to enjoy the mid-Atlantic climate and scenery. The nearby Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean beaches — including Virginia Beach, just minutes away — offer year-round recreation from kayaking and paddleboarding to surfing. College football fans won't have to look far either, with Norfolk State University and Old Dominion University both anchoring the local sports scene.

Norfolk's food culture reflects its coastal character, with a bustling restaurant scene featuring fresh seafood, craft breweries and farm-to-table eateries. The NEON (New East Ocean View Norfolk) arts district and the annual Norfolk Jazz Festival are just two examples of the city's creative energy. With affordable cost of living compared to many coastal metros, a close-knit community feel and easy access to the best of coastal Virginia, Norfolk is a wonderful place to build both a career and a life.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
