Carpenter (Contract)

Location: Sheboygan, WI 53081 (on site)

Shift/Schedule: Contract, with a rotating on-call schedule for emergency board-up

About the Role We are looking for a Carpenter to perform on-site property restoration work, including trim and rough framing carpentry, drywall, and painting. A strong candidate takes direction well, works efficiently, and treats property owners with care during a stressful time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform trim carpentry, rough framing, drywall, painting, cleaning, and material handling on assigned job sites
  • Install drywall, tape and mud seams, sand, and feather into existing walls
  • Complete painting tasks including texturing, spray application, and roll-on
  • Match stains and apply proper staining technique
  • Travel to job sites in a company vehicle and complete tasks on time
  • Take part in the board-up on-call rotation and respond to emergencies
  • Communicate regularly with project managers and the assigned manager

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of carpentry or property restoration experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of general construction and damage restoration methods
  • OSHA 10 safety certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA 30, fall protection, IICRC, and forklift/telehandler certifications
