Job Title: Cleaning Services Manager

Job Description:

The Cleaning Services Manager is responsible for managing daily cleaning operations, supervising cleaning staff, maintaining hygiene standards, ensuring customer satisfaction, and complying with workplace safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations Management

  • Oversee and manage daily cleaning operations at assigned premises.
  • Develop cleaning schedules and allocate duties to cleaning staff.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities are completed according to schedule.
  • Monitor the quality and efficiency of cleaning services.

2. Staff Management

  • Recruit, train and supervise cleaning employees.
  • Assign duties and manage staff attendance and work schedules.
  • Conduct staff performance evaluations.
  • Ensure employees follow company policies and procedures.

3. Cleaning Standards & Quality Control

  • Conduct regular inspections of cleaning areas.
  • Ensure proper cleaning, sanitisation and disinfection procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Identify and resolve cleaning-related complaints.

4. Equipment & Inventory Management

  • Monitor cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment.
  • Arrange purchasing and replenishment of cleaning materials.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of cleaning chemicals.
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition.

5. Health & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Implement safe handling procedures for cleaning chemicals.
  • Provide safety training to cleaning employees.
  • Ensure staff use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

6. Customer & Client Management

  • Coordinate with clients regarding cleaning requirements.
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints.
  • Maintain good relationships with clients.
  • Ensure services meet contractual obligations and service standards.

7. Administrative & Reporting Duties

  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports.
  • Monitor cleaning costs and operational budgets.
  • Maintain staff attendance, training and inspection records.
  • Report operational issues and recommend improvements.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Plan manpower requirements according to operational needs.
  • Coordinate special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning activities.
  • Monitor staff productivity and operational performance.
  • Implement improvements to increase service efficiency and quality.
