We are a genuine energetic bunch of individuals that are striving for a better lifestyle not only for our customers but also for our own employees. Would you like to be part of it? Then, please keep reading!

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Site Supervisor to deliver a seamless, welcoming, and high-quality experience to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Support

Supervise, motivate, and support the sauna host team, leading by example on the floor. Coordinate staff breaks, shift swaps and cover to ensure smooth shift coverage. Train and mentor new team members on guest service, session flow, sauna heat management and plunge pool care. Promote a respectful, team-oriented workplace.

Customer Experience

Deliver a warm, welcoming, and attentive guest experience from arrival to departure, making sure every guest is walked through the venue layout, how their session flows and what to expect from the saunas, plunge pools and shared spaces. Look out for guests who are new or a little nervous and step in when someone needs a hand. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.

Respond to customer feedback and resolve issues professionally. Ensure guests are thanked as they leave, asked about their experience and informed about rebooking, offers and memberships. Adapt to different guest preferences and needs.

Health, Safety & Hygiene

Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards across all areas. Monitor sauna and plunge pool conditions (temperature, cleanliness, equipment), ensuring every sauna is at its best temperature for each session through correct stove or heater management. Oversee daily plunge pool cleaning, chemical treatment and water testing, and ensure results are recorded. Make sure the team understands the temperature, hygiene and etiquette guidelines for all sauna and plunge experiences, as well as the venue’s safety procedures. Ensure all cleaning routines and deep cleans are completed to standard. Respond to incidents and follow emergency procedures.

Operations & Administration

Oversee daily opening and closing procedures and keep sessions running on time, including check-ins, check-outs, wristbands and transitions between sessions. Oversee use of the booking system, including cancellations, reschedules and voucher redemptions. Manage POS operations and basic cash handling, ensuring payments, gift vouchers, offers and memberships are processed accurately. Monitor stock levels (towels, water, merchandise and hygiene supplies) and report supply needs. Log incidents, maintenance issues, lost property and daily updates.

Communication

Keep the team informed of updates and site activity, making sure team notes, guest information and shift updates are kept current on our team tools. Provide feedback and support staff development. Act as a link between the team and management, passing on guest feedback and the team’s ideas for improving the experience.

Maintenance, Cleaning & Safety

Ensure daily and deep cleaning schedules are completed to a high standard, including session turnarounds (benches wiped, water topped up, fresh towels prepared and stations restocked), daily cleaning of saunas, changing rooms, showers and toilets, and scheduled weekly and monthly deep cleans such as sauna deep cleans, laundry and power washing of outdoor areas. Report and follow up on maintenance issues. Carry out regular fire, safety, and equipment checks.

About Us

The Hot Box is one of Ireland’s fastest-growing wellness brands, offering a variety of unique wellness and relaxation facilities across the country, especially well known for outdoor saunas and plunge pools in tranquil surroundings and places of natural beauty.

Our team is held together by five values. If they sound like you, you’ll feel right at home:

Give a damn: You care deeply about what you do and the standard you do it to. If something isn’t right, you take ownership and act.

Get things done: You value action and outcomes over over-analysis. You move fast and follow through until the job is finished to a high standard.

Be a team player: You put the team ahead of ego, titles, or personal wins. You show up for the people around you and do what’s needed, even when it isn’t strictly “your job.”

No bull: You’re honest, direct, and transparent, even when the truth is a little uncomfortable. You say what you mean, with respect.

Keep your promises: You do what you say you’ll do, for guests and teammates alike. If something slips, you flag it early, own it, and fix it.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
