Introduction Jim Pattison Hyundai Surrey is seeking a reliable, hardworking Detailer to join our team. In this role, you’ll help keep our dealership and inventory looking their best by ensuring vehicles are cleaned, polished, and presented to a high standard. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a sharp eye for detail, and understands the importance of quality and consistency. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry, build new skills, and grow a long-term career with room for advancement. Schedule: This is a full-time, permanent position of 40 hours per week. Pay Range: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience Reports to: Service Manager A Day in the Life

Perform complete interior and exterior detailing of customer and inventory vehicles, including washing, vacuuming, shampooing, polishing, waxing, and finishing work Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of all vehicles on-site Safely move, position, and relocate vehicles within the dealership or detailing area as needed Inspect vehicles before and after detailing to confirm quality standards are met Identify and promptly report any vehicle damage, mechanical issues, or property concerns Use detailing tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals safely and correctly, in line with safety guidelines Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information at all times Help foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment Perform other related duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

A valid BC Driver’s licence and a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract are required Previous automotive industry experience is a strong asset Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship Customer service oriented, with a friendly, professional, and approachable manner Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic This is a physically active role that requires:

Frequent walking throughout the dealership, lot, and detailing areas Extended periods of standing, bending, crouching, and reaching Regular handling of cleaning products, tools, and detailing equipment Operating vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions Significant time spent indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat (conditions are monitored for safety as needed)
