Jim Pattison Subaru on Regent is looking for a customer-focused, motivated, and digitally comfortable individual to join our dealership team as a Financial Services Advisor. This role is an opportunity to build trusted relationships with customers while helping them navigate the financing and vehicle delivery process. We’re looking for someone who communicates confidently, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in creating a positive customer experience. Experience in automotive finance or sales is valuable, but we also recognize that strong people skills, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to doing things the right way can translate well into this position. Training and support will be provided to help the successful candidate develop their knowledge of automotive finance and dealership processes. Schedule: Full-time, permanent 40 hours per week. Evening and weekend availability is required. Learn more about us here: https://www.jpautogroup.com/dealership/about.htm What You’ll Do As a Financial Services Advisor, you’ll play an important role in the final stages of the vehicle purchase journey. You’ll work closely with customers, sales professionals, management, and financial institutions to ensure each transaction is handled accurately, efficiently, and professionally. Your responsibilities will include:
Meet with customers throughout the finance and delivery process and provide clear, helpful guidance. Explain financing, leasing, payment structures, and related options in an easy-to-understand manner. Prepare and structure finance and lease agreements in accordance with dealership and lender requirements. Introduce customers to available protection products, including extended warranties, insurance products, and vehicle protection plans. Work with lenders and financial institutions to obtain approvals and complete transactions. Review and complete financial and legal documentation with a high degree of accuracy. Keep customer and deal information current within dealership systems and CRM platforms. Coordinate with sales and delivery teams to create an organized and professional handover experience. Develop productive relationships with lending partners and remain informed about available programs, rates, and requirements. Maintain strong knowledge of finance products, insurance offerings, compliance standards, and dealership procedures. Contribute to a collaborative environment where customer satisfaction, professionalism, and compliance are priorities.
Success in this position requires a combination of communication skills, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to earn customer trust. You should be comfortable learning new information and explaining it clearly to people with different levels of financial knowledge. What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Manitoba Sales Permit. Interest in developing knowledge of automotive finance, lending, and insurance products. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A customer-first approach and the ability to establish rapport quickly. Strong attention to detail when working with financial and legal documentation. Good organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment. A professional, ethical, and compliance-minded approach. The ability to explain detailed information clearly and confidently. Comfort using computers, CRM platforms, and other digital tools. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends according to dealership requirements. Additional language skills are considered an asset given the diverse customer base we serve. Previous automotive sales or finance experience is an asset. A positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and genuine interest in learning and developing within the automotive industry.
