SUMMARY:

Assists in data entry, filing and other requested duties to assist in the Accounting Department.

Will process bi-weekly payroll.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Data entry, filing and other requested duties to assist in the Accounting Department.

Perform cashier duties:

Open and verify cash “drop” envelopes from outlets and Front Desk.

Prepare and distribute the various reports to outlet managers, Front Desk, and Accounting.

Audit house banks as per schedule.

Prepare paperwork for bank deposit at prescribed time(s).

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.

Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with company rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel’s facilities. Employees who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
