The posting

The post will appeal to new and more experienced teachers who have a track record of delivering high quality teaching and learning and wish to join a dynamic and supportive team committed to ensuring pupils have exposure to the very best educational experience.

The successful candidate will:

- promote the vision and values of the college at all times

- be a team player ensuring the needs of pupils sit at the heart of what they do each day

- commit to providing high quality pastoral care for all pupils

- be self-reflective and pursue the best possible outcomes for pupils

Successful candidates will be supported to fully develop in the role, benefiting from a comprehensive bespoke Professional Learning programme. In addition, colleagues will also benefit from being part of The Hull Collaborative Multi-Academy Trust (HCAT) where there are significant opportunities for further progression as well as generous employee benefits and favourable pay and conditions.

The Marvell College continues to go from strength to strength. This was confirmed by another strong “Good” Ofsted report in July 2024.

What Ofsted say about our school:

“This is an inclusive, caring and friendly school. Leaders are ambitious for the pupils.”

“Staff have high expectations for pupils. Pupils behave well in classrooms and on corridors.”

“Leaders have created a culture where positive relationships are important. As a result, pupils are courteous and respectful to staff and to each other.”

“Staff are proud to work at The Marvell College. Leaders take care to ensure that staff workload and well-being constitute a high priority.”

“There is a collective will to succeed and a determination that The Marvell College continues to improve.”

We are extremely proud to serve our community and have a committed body of staff who strive to go the extra mile for the pupils in our care. We seek to live out our school motto that those in our care are, and can be, “As good as anyone, anywhere “and ensure our school values of “Ambition, Respect and Courage” permeate all that we do. The school is oversubscribed every year and staff turnover is very low.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a substantial difference to the lives of young people.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
