Built on quality craftsmanship and strong company values, Woodhaven has set the standard in premium turkey calls. We take pride in creating high-quality products that deliver exceptional sound and performance in the field.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Production Associate specializing in Box Call Tuning to join our team!

In this role, you'll be responsible for tuning, testing, and making adjustments to our wooden turkey box calls to ensure each one produces the sound and quality Woodhaven is known for. This position requires patience, precision, attention to detail, and the ability to consistently evaluate sound and performance.

Whether you have experience with woodworking, manufacturing, or turkey calls, we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys creating a quality product.

What You'll Do

  • Tune and adjust wooden turkey box calls to achieve the desired pitch, tone, and sound quality.
  • Test each call for sound consistency, clarity, and overall performance.
  • Make precise adjustments to components and contact surfaces as needed to meet quality standards.
  • Inspect finished calls for defects, imperfections, or performance issues.
  • Use hand tools, sanding equipment, and other production tools to make adjustments.
  • Follow established tuning procedures and quality standards to ensure consistency across products.
  • Identify and report quality concerns or production issues to management.
  • Work closely with the production team to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Follow all safety procedures when handling tools and equipment.
  • Assist with additional production, assembly, and finishing tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, woodworking, assembly, or a similar hands-on role preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to make precise adjustments.
  • Ability to evaluate differences in sound, pitch, and tone.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Patience and consistency when performing detailed, repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to follow instructions, learn tuning techniques, and maintain quality standards.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and woodworking techniques is a plus.
  • Familiarity with turkey hunting, turkey calls, or box call operation is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a production environment with exposure to noise, wood dust, and other manufacturing conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools and production equipment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
