WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Business Applications Engineer will help expand the Business Applications team’s capacity to deliver scalable, well-governed technology solutions across a growing global enterprise application portfolio. This role will partner with internal technology and operational stakeholders, as well as external delivery partners, to drive solution delivery, requirements analysis, and platform governance. The position connects delivery work back to business priorities, operational needs, and established platform standards.

We’re looking for someone who brings strong enterprise systems experience, solution development skills, and a proactive approach to working across both technical and non-technical audiences. They should be comfortable navigating complexity, identifying risks early, and delivering practical, scalable outcomes.

YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • 2–4+ years of hands-on technical experience with Salesforce within an enterprise business application environment.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring, executing, and enhancing solutions within Salesforce, including declarative automation, data modeling, security controls, and managed packages.
  • Conceptual understanding of the Salesforce technical landscape (e.g., Apex, Lightning Web Components, etc).
  • Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements, then translating them into actionable delivery work.
  • Direct involvement working with external vendors, consultants, or implementation partners.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify risks, gaps, and dependencies and communicate them clearly to technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, build, and deploy scalable solutions within the Salesforce platform and its native applications, including Sales, Service, and Professional Services (Certinia) Clouds, driving hands-on engineering efforts from initial technical design through to deployment and optimization.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and other technology teams to understand needs, analyze requirements, shape them into clear, actionable delivery tasks, and execute the work.
  • Work closely with external delivery partners, maintaining alignment of solution approach and execution with delivery expectations and established governance guardrails.
  • Support cross-functional solution delivery efforts involving enterprise applications, middleware configuration, and other operational platforms that interact with or impact the Salesforce ecosystem, focusing on data mapping and solution alignment.
  • Identify risks, gaps, dependencies, and misalignment early, escalating concerns with clear context and recommendations.
  • Apply established standards and best practices related to architecture, security, integrations, documentation, and release readiness.
  • Participate in business and technical working sessions, representing the Business Applications team in discussions related to delivery, requirements, and operational impact.
  • Support testing facilitation, deployment and release activities, issue triage, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Create and maintain practical documentation, including requirements, process flows, solution notes, decision records, and support materials.
  • Contribute to “Run the Business” activities as needed, including troubleshooting support, analysis, and system maintenance.
  • Collaborate effectively across technology, operations, services delivery, and external partner teams to achieve successful delivery outcomes.

COMPETENCIES

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Adept at navigating complex, evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Steady execution across overlapping projects and delivery timelines.
  • Relationship-building and collaboration across teams and external partners.
  • Proactive identification and escalation of risks, gaps, and dependencies.
  • Recognizes opportunities to contribute and acts on them with appropriate ownership and follow-through.
  • Innate curiosity and a drive to engage with new or transforming processes, technologies, and frameworks.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN RETURN

  • Full time position
  • Opportunities for growth and development
  • Health & Dental Insurance (choice of plans)
  • 100% Employer paid short-term disability and life insurance
  • Opportunity to elect additional life insurance and LTD insurance at employee expense
  • Paid parental leave
  • Opportunity to contribute pre-tax dollars to flexible spending accounts
  • 401(K) with employer match
  • Remote working flexibility
  • Generous time off

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
