Senior Manager, International Marketing
Reports to: Head of International Location: North County San Diego, CA | Hybrid (3 days in office)

With a significant international presence and continued growth across global markets, the company is seeking an experienced International Marketing Manager to help shape and execute its international brand strategy.
Role Overview
The Senior International Marketing Manager will lead international brand and go-to-market strategy across 35 distributor markets spanning 70 countries, serving as the key liaison between headquarters and international distribution partners.
This role will translate global brand strategy into localized market execution, drive distributor sell-in, lead product collaborations, and partner closely with Retail Marketing, Creative, Sales, Product, and E-Commerce teams across content, retail presence, digital initiatives, and global events.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, commercially minded, and comfortable managing multiple international markets and stakeholders simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
International Strategy & Distributor Partnerships
- Lead international brand and GTM strategy across 35 distributor markets and 70 countries.
- Serve as the primary marketing liaison between headquarters and international distributors.
- Translate global strategies into actionable local plans across marketing, product, retail, and e-commerce.
- Coordinate seasonal marketing direction, campaign priorities, calendars, and product storytelling.
- Review distributor marketing plans and guide partners on activations, PR, social media, ambassadors, and local events.
- Identify international growth opportunities and support new market launches and transitions.
- Manage international marketing budgets and prioritize investment based on ROI, business objectives, and brand impact.
Sell-In & Distributor Tools
- Develop and distribute seasonal sell-in tools, presentations, templates, and brand resources.
- Build strategic sell-in decks for key products, franchises, and categories.
- Provide international partners with early visibility into seasonal product initiatives and priorities.
- Develop pitch materials highlighting product opportunities, market insights, and growth potential.
Content & Retail Marketing
- Partner with Creative and Brand teams to identify international content needs and support localized content development.
- Support international trade shows and showroom initiatives.
- Partner with Retail Marketing on visual merchandising, fixtures, POP, GWP, concept stores, and shop-in-shop initiatives.
- Coordinate annual international fixture and POP programs alongside Sales, vendors, and distributors.
Global Events & Collaborations
- Support global brand meetings and international distributor programming.
- Help develop and present international marketing strategy.
- Lead international product collaborations from concept through launch, including development, timelines, GTM planning, execution, and post-launch analysis.
E-Commerce
- Partner with E-Commerce to bring digital exclusives and product priorities to international partners.
- Share digital strategies, learnings, and best practices across international markets.
- Support international e-commerce launches and ensure brand, product, and marketing readiness.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in international marketing, brand marketing, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing international distributor and/or franchise partner relationships strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to translate global brand strategy into market-specific execution.
- Experience developing sell-in presentations, pitch decks, and marketing toolkits for external partners.
- Cross-functional experience across Marketing, Sales, Creative, Product, and E-Commerce.
- Consumer brand experience required; footwear, apparel, action sports, outdoor, or adjacent lifestyle categories preferred.
- Experience managing marketing budgets across multiple markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, International Business, or related field.
- Ability to travel internationally as needed.
