Customer Service Representative | Montague, MI

Salary Range: $48,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Montague that are seeking Customer Service Representatives. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, order status, and delivery schedules.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, shipping errors, or service issues.
  • Collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to address customer concerns and expedite solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback within the CRM system.
  • Provide customers with information on new products, pricing, and promotional offers.

  • Escalate complex customer issues to appropriate internal departments for further investigation and resolution.

Recommended Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical information clearly
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM software specific to manufacturing (e.g., Epicor, SAP).
  • Familiarity with common manufacturing terms and processes (e.g., BOM, lead time, QC).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications or product drawings.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing plant or production environment.
  • Certification in a relevant area, such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
