Engineering Manager | Otsego, MI

Salary Range: $119,000 - $168,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Otsego that are seeking Engineering Managers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Oversee the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
  • Drive the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project completion.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
  • Develop and execute engineering strategies to support production goals and business objectives.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering within a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing principles and their application.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers.
  • Experience with CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
