Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Byron Center that are seeking Inventory Control Managers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and policies.
  • Oversee all aspects of inventory accuracy, including cycle counting and physical inventories.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
  • Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehousing to ensure seamless material flow.
  • Manage and mentor a team of inventory control specialists and clerks.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management software and systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory management efficiency and reduce costs.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize inventory control processes.
  • Certification in inventory management (e.g., APICS CPIM) is a plus.

Bonus Qualifications

  • APICS certification (CSCP or CPIM)
  • Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) in inventory management
  • Proficiency in a second language relevant to the manufacturing workforce
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
