Salary Range: $69,000 - $98,000 depending on experience

This posting covers Quality Supervisor opportunities with manufacturers based in and around Niles in Berrien County, within about 45 minutes of the city, including Benton Harbor, St. Joseph, Stevensville, and Dowagiac.

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across the Niles area seeking Quality Supervisors who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Usual Responsibilities

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Maintain and audit the quality management system.
  • Coordinate calibration and inspection equipment upkeep.
  • Track quality metrics and report trends to plant leadership.
  • Support internal and external audits and customer visits.
  • Supervise quality inspectors and technicians on assigned shifts.
  • Review production and inspection records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Investigate customer complaints and internal nonconformances.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and core quality tools.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methods.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor degree in engineering, quality, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience leading or supervising inspection teams.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive or medical device manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with statistical process control and gage R and R.
  • Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt training.
  • Experience with quality software and ERP systems.
  • Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Quality Auditor credential.
