The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Cadillac region seeking Weld Technicians. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding, fabrication, and repair on manufacturing equipment.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine appropriate welding processes.
  • Operate and maintain various welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welders.
  • Conduct quality checks on welded components to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment and related machinery.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize welding processes and designs.

Recommended Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's degree in Welding Technology or related field preferred.
  • AWS Certified Welder (CW) certification required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing welding, specifically with MIG, TIG, and Stick processes.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
  • Strong understanding of metallurgy, welding procedures, and quality control principles.
