Join our Raymond Team as a Quality Inspector!

The Role:

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Quality Inspector who brings technical skills and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll perform quality inspections while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Perform testing of mechanical/electrical assemblies and measure dimensional characteristics per Raymond engineering and other documents.
  • Support quality systems, follow all quality documentation, performing inspections of completed trucks ensuring both internal and end user customer requirements are met.
  • Participate in problem solving.
  • Create records within a database.
  • Cross train in various Quality areas.
  • Be familiar with ISO-9001 & Raymond Quality Systems: use of RWS, QAPs and APLs; Dept. Inspection Plans and Work Instructions.
  • Interface with multiple departments and other manufacturing divisions when resolving problems.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • This is an entry level position with no experience necessary.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products

  • Previous inspection experience
  • Strong communication skills – clear and concise verbal and written communication.
  • Acute attention to details
  • Ability to create records in a data base

Where and When You’ll Work:

  • This is an in-person role located at our Kirkwood, NY location—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
  • The schedule is Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 3:30pm and Friday 6:00am – 10:00am; there may be overtime based on business needs.
